BILLING
We designed the transition of your billing services to us to be as quick and efficient as possible. We will do a thorough analysis of your existing workcomp coding and billing structure and make recommendations for review and implementation. Our billing system ensures quick submission of claim forms upon receiving all the relevant information. We assume all costs associated with generation and mailing of claims. We ensure quick posting of all payments as soon as they are received in order to reflect current and accurate A/R. Every month we generate management and billing/collection reports for review and analysis of all aspects of your billing and collections. As we progress we will provide you with a precise picture of your billing system and overall revenue cycle and mark areas where improvements can be made.
COLLECTIONS
As bills are sent out we will begin the collections process so that your claims are reimbursed without delay. We utilize an efficient multi-tiered approach to any claim that has not been paid within 30 days. Inquiry letters are sent out on all unpaid balances post 30 days. After 45 days we send out collection and demand letters for unpaid balances. Our staff has years of experience dealing with insurance adjustors from almost all insurance carriers. Calls are also generated 45 days after filing of claims. After 60 days past due we send out additional collection and demand letters. For denied claims we employ an innovative appeal process to insurance carriers. In addition to billing reports we also will provide full A/R analysis and collections review.
LIENS
Perhaps the most important thing that sets us apart is that we offer lien resolution services. The California lien process is perhaps the main reason many providers choose to forgo work comp cases. Unfortunately, providers are missing out on a sizeable amount of revenue by doing this. We utilize electronic case inquiries and online lien filing systems to ensure prompt filing of liens. With the DWC’s transition to a new electronic adjudication management system (EAMS) the lien filing process will only get more complex. You need someone who can navigate this more complex lien system effectively. We have already prepared for this change and are ready to resolve your liens! We have lien representatives available to cover all the major WCAB courts throughout California. Our lien representatives have several years experience in courts throughout California and we ensure our staff and representatives always keep up to date with the latest codes and regulations.
